We chose this location because we love the quietness of Mitchellville. A short walk to the beach is a bonus. I appreciate that there were fans in the bedrooms to drown out any noise at night.

Came to Hilton Head for a wedding. The villa was in close proximity to all the events and very close to the beach. It was clean and cozy. David is a very receptive host. Had a great stay.

We had an amazing experience at David’s condo. Having children with special needs I was thankful that the amount of breakable decor was at a minimum, easy to put in drawers or on top of higher furniture. It was unfortunate that due to the electrical storms our WiFi was not available. Being able to relax during a medical procedure that was extremely stressful for my daughter, I am very thankful we had a place to recharge once that was completed successfully!

Having both an indoor and outdoor pool was a huge plus, especially during the rainy days. Our family felt right at home, and we’d definitely love to stay here again on our next trip. We had a wonderful stay at David's place! The location was absolutely perfect - so close to a beautiful, calm private beach and the pools. Helpful stuff when you travel with a five-year-old. The condo upgrades were lovely and added great character to the space. Check-in was seamless with clear, helpful instructions. The interior was charming and well-decorated. While the space could have benefited from a deeper clean (particularly the pans in the kitchen, which were likely due to a guest forgetting they had used them - I don't think this is David's responsibility), the host was very responsive and offered assistance if we needed anything during our stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it for its fantastic location and comfortable accommodations.

David was a great host! We truly enjoyed our stay and loved the area. It was very peaceful and calm. The room was very clean and organized. The place is beautiful and serene. So many calming areas as well as functional for family occasions. You can find a swing to sit out on and watch the tide roll in, you can grab a hammock for an easy nap, or fire up the grills to make dinner for the family. The unit was clean, pleasantly decorated, and well stocked. David made sure we got in the unit quickly when I was having issues entering the code. All the necessities were available to ensure a pleasant stay.

Condo was very nice. There was a power outage in our originally booked condo and we had to switch to a different condo with less beds. We were given a discount and a late check out as compensation.

A storm came through and caused some electrical issues within our villa, David was EXTREMELY helpful and got us into a new villa and made our stay perfect even with the out of his control circumstances. Extremely nice and accommodating. Truly exceptional.

What a beautiful setting and condo. Everything was as described. We had a small issue that was taken care of in a timely manner. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot away from the hustle and bustle this is it. We’ll be back.

My kids and I truly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The beds were very comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows if needed. There were plenty of bath linens. Beach towels and toys were provided, which meant less for me to pack as single mom (huge plus). We enjoyed having an indoor pool right across from the Airbnb for the cooler day we were there. It wasn’t the cleanest, but that clearly isn’t the Airbnb host’s fault. Getting to the beach was an easy, beautiful walk. The beach itself was perfect for young kids. We caught and released hermit crabs, watched dolphins, a sting ray and even a bald eagle. The Airbnb itself was very clean and comfortable. I especially loved the coffee bar! Thanks David, for letting us enjoy your wonderful space!

We had a nice little family getaway at Hilton Head and enjoyed the peacefulness of this “off the beaten trail” location. Overall the place was clean and comfortable, and our son loved how close we were to the pool! However WiFi seems to be an issue throughout the facility, so have a backup plan if you’re trying to wind down with a movie. Also because it is a bit further from touristy areas, you can expect a 15-20 minute drive to most locations on the island (in case you have little ones and need to prepare!).

David sent us a link to recommended restaurants, shops, etc. Check in instructions were clear and detailed. The home was clean and had amenities. The beach and pool were a great addition to the space! The view is spectacular. Outdoor seating area was a plus! David followed up with us twice during our short stay to ensure our needs were met. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Great stay! We were in town for a family wedding and it was the perfect spot for our family of 4. The WiFi was being difficult as technology can be and they responded very quickly on a Saturday morning to fix the situation. Would recommend 100%

David's place was very clean and very cozy. The location was very central to everything in town. The outdoor pool is directly in front of the balcony and the indoor pool is directly across from the front of the apartment. The kids loved that.

We were so blessed with a sweet little oasis from the world. The location is perfect. I’ve stayed on the property before but this was our first time staying at this condo. We will absolutely be back and excited to view their other properties. Everything about checking in and out was so easy. We STRONGLY recommend Hudson’s for dinner. ❤️❤️

The condo was exactly like the pictures, and the amenities were very accessible. We love being able to walk down to the beach and a quick walk to the pool. the outdoor patio was screened, and it was a great set up for our trip!

We were there just one night for a business trip, but it was a lovely condo in a beautiful setting, with convenient amenities (and down the block from my meeting, so that couldn't be better). I'll have to return for fun with my family. Highly recommend. David was a great host and easy to communicate with. The digital locks made it easy for us, since we were arriving late.

It was a beautiful space and very much a hidden gem of a location. Very clean and the owners were very helpful. My only complaint would be the complex itself had an ant issue, but thankfully none within the condo. Would definitely stay there again!

Condo worked out well! We loved having the screened in patio with a TV! Had a small issue with the keypad on the door, but everyone was very responsive to the issue and had it solved right away!

We had a fabulous time with four of our young grandchildren. They loved the pool and the short walk to see where the river meets the ocean. They loved catching sand crabs and exploring the marshy area. We took a short drive to the beach each morning then back to the condo for lunch, pool time and a nap. The condo is close to everything. We will definitely be back!

We planned a last minute week vacation 10pm on a Saturday night and we were at David’s place less than 12 hours later. David was so accommodating. The condo was absolutely spectacular! They had everything you can think of. The beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were beautiful, the screened in porch was a nice touch. The condo is right outside of the pool which is great for families with little kids. The beach was a short walk away and it was perfect for little kids. The waves weren’t huge so they could play without us worrying about them. The location is 5 minutes away from everything you need. The condo had everything you needed for pool and beach days. It was private, so if you want to escape the tourist parts of Hilton head, this is the place to stay. But it’s a quick drive from all of the tourist spots. What a hidden gem. We absolutely loved our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, David!

This is a perfect place for a beach getaway. The condo has plenty of room for a family to stay and enjoy the amenities. There is an indoor and outdoor pool as well as the beach just a few steps away. The location was safe, private and easy to access. I would highly recommend staying at David's place.

It was the perfect place for us. We loved walking around the bay looking for sea creatures. It felt therapeutic and we enjoyed the slow paced vibes. The water was super shallow and calm so I didn’t have to worry about the kids. My toddler is autistic and she did so well here. It was one of our best vacations. 10/10 recommend if you have kids that need a low key vacation and enjoy exploring nature over splashing in the waves. Also this condo was perfect, clean, convenient, had everything we needed, ground level, screen room, etc. it felt super safe. No balcony and the entrance had a lock at the top of the door so I didn’t have to worry about the kids. Plus great view, super easy to walk to pools or the bay. We loved the hammocks and swings and trees and the pond. We saw fish, turtles, sea snails, crabs, and more! Sunsets were beautiful! And David was helpful and responsive!

This place was very well put together. It has tons of amenities and Dave was on top of everything. You can tell Dave cares and has put a lot of effort into this condo and making his guests feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Everything was ok, the place was clean, the pool was great for the kids but I rented it because it was in front the beach, and it seemed more like a pond, so we had to go to a public beach. But we spent a great vacations on David's place.

It was a nice stay close to the beach

We had a really great time during our stay at Hilton Head. We were able to walk out on the pier and watch the sunrise in the mornings. Lots of wildlife in the area as well.

We loved our stay at David’s! We loved the close proximity to the pool and the setting. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll love exploring all the sea life down at the beach/sound. The condo was decorated well and comfortable for our family of five. When we wanted to go swimming at the beach we drove down to Folly Field Beach which was just a ten minute drive. I would have liked a full length mirror at the condo and we had trouble with the washer. It didn’t seem to spin/drain well. The indoor pool area wasn’t in the best condition. There was flooding into the bathrooms while we were there but the kiddos still loved it. We would stay again - thanks!

Great stay. Clean and accommodating.

It accommodated our needs. Really liked having two full bathrooms. The only thing missing was a full length mirror. Also ceiling light in master bedroom didn’t work.

First, when we arrived, we were disappointed to discover the patio doesn't have access to the courtyard, not a deal breaker, just not expected. Next, we walked to the beach. The beach in the description is NOT correct, other than not crowded. It's not a swimming beach, it's a graveyard for oysters and a nasty, mucky, slab of mud and gunk and smelled terrible and the bugs were atrocious. The washing machine did not wring the laundry or agitate. We ended up doing loads of laundry in the sink. The owner give us access to another unit but the door code did not work. Never heard back from the owner either. Upon opening the sleeper sofa, we found used sheets that I had to remove. The master toilet seat was also loose. And, the water heater never allowed the showers to really warm up to nice shower. There were also 2 large roaches in the unit.

Was very comfortable as the unit was really clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Beds comfortable with lots of extra pillow if needed.

My wife and I found the unit very comfortable with unlimited TV’s in every room and balcony. It was clean, but the unit was beginning to show its age. We had an issue with the washing machine that failed to wash our clothes properly. Notified the owner and he was concerned and reached out to solve the issue. Disappointed with the sauna located nearby. It appeared not very inviting due to all the white foam on the surface.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the location was great and the apartment was a nice size for our family. Unfortunately, there was some sanitary issues, such as mildew or mold on the shower curtain and patio furniture. Communication with the host was terrible. Several times over numerous days messages were sent regarding the issues and no reply received. I'm assuming they were ignoring me, which is incredibly unprofessional.

We enjoyed the quiet beach and the ability to walk back and forth from the condo to watch the sunrise or to walk on the beach at low tide.

Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again! We brought our 2 young boys on a last minute trip for Fall Break and we are so glad we did. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of things to do close by also. Our last day rained that evening so we took advantage of the indoor pool. It worked out perfect. Thanks so much for a great trip!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo looked just like the pictures and was very clean. The out-of-the way setting was beautiful and relaxing. My only complaint was that we did not receive check-in instructions and sat at the gate waiting for a text with the unit number and entry code. Otherwise, a very good visit to Hilton Head Island.

Overall, I liked my stay with Bonnee! The place matched the description and was clean upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this place. The area is nice, quiet, and relaxing. Only issues or concerns that I personally encountered were the fact that I listed 5 guests would be attending, yet there were only 3 wash cloths available. And the beach, though it was good location, it wasn’t a “tourist” beach or it didn’t prove to be much of an amenity, in my opinion. Though, that has nothing to do with Bonnee’s place, only my choosing. Other than that, my family definitely enjoyed themselves.

This place was just as described, and looked exactly like the pictures. The ONLY thing that needed change was the shower curtains, as they looked a bit moldy. but other than that, this place was spectacular! My favorite thing was that it had an outside screened-in porch located right in front of the pool WITH A TV! Everything was great, I would stay here again.

Had a lovely time with my friends staying here for a quiet and relaxing girls trip. Unfortunately the main large pool was not open during the entirety of our stay and that was a big miss but I know that’s not the host’s fault. The beach also wasn’t what we expected; though it was walkable, the tide was so low that there was just muddy pools all over. Again, not in their control! There was a small leak in one of the bathrooms that left us confused. Overall a great stay but just some things that could’ve been better about the location.

We arrived after scheduled check-in but cleaning lady was still there. The bedspread on second bedroom was stained with blood or juice. We washed it. The front bedroom needs blackout curtains. Gets bright early.

The place was cozy and clean, and the location was excellent!! I embarrassingly caused a series of mishaps, starting with mixing up the dates, which threw off the cleaning crew, and I left a dress behind in the rush to pack up and leave. And yet, the hosts were responsive and empathetic.. all in the midst of a busy holiday weekend! I booked this trip in a moment of significant grief, and think I just really wasn’t fully present and didn’t realize I only booked one night instead of two. What was meant to be a restorative getaway was cut short… but the one day we had there was absolutely lovely and I’m grateful!

Ms. Bonnee and I had miss communication but she was a very respectable person. I truly appreciate her patience with me n my family. It is the most beautiful condo and a private beach. I can’t wait to come back

Me and my family enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the location. The house was very clean. The only complaint that I have is the bathroom sinks were a bit dirty. Other than that, the house is a ten/ten!!

Excellent property, good for beach combing and exploring nature. The beach during our stay in April was full of jellyfish, but still, we walked and had plenty to do. David is a great and helpful host! And the condo was exactly as described, picture-perfect, spotless, fully stocked with everything and anything that you might need. Beds were very comfortable, variety of pillows, tv’s in EVERY room, even the deck. Deck view to the main pool, and indoor pool right in front of the unit. Great location close to Hudson’s, AMAZING food, best oysters we’ve had. We also tried Lowcountry Backyard, pretty good! We had a very relaxed weekend, thank you so much, David!

Nice stay. David communicated with me well. Instructions were clear. Location is awesome! Unit was clean and well stocked. Only small complaints. The host family were in the unit upon us arriving. They were waiting for the linen to dry. We explained we would take them out of the dryer and put them on. We left and returned to the property to find the linens were placed on the bed. It was a bit off putting. David did explain he returned to unit to put bedding on. The water in the master bathroom shower did not get very warm. I would suggest a more secure lock bolt for main entrance door. Overall it was a pleasant, quick stay. Thank you.

Great location on HHI. Short walk to beach access as well as the indoor and outdoor pools. Only downside was the fitness room being closed for the foreseeable future, but other than that everything was perfect.

The overall stay was decent. Since the units are old, the smell of mildew was strong. Cats galore roaming throughout the area. Be prepared to pay a fee for coming into the area. David however, was a really good host. Addressed my concerns immediately.

Very clean, very nice condo, David and Helen are excellent at responding with any requests. My only complaint is that the beach is hardly visible from the condo and the beach in front of the condo is not a good beach for the kids. It is more for viewing rather than swimming. To get to the swimming beach we had to drive.

David’s home is highly recommended for a family of 6.. It’s on the first floor , so it’s better for people who has problem climbing the stairs. It is very convenient to carry your stuff because it’s right by the stairs that has 3-4 steps.

Nicely decorated and with extras like beach towels. Less crowded area. Loved beach combing for natural wildlife but not a swimming beach. A regular dining table versus high top one would be more comfortable for dining and game playing.

The Airbnb is clean, updated, and well-maintained. David is friendly and communicates well! The beach it is located near is calm and peaceful, it’s always easy to find the perfect spot. The walk to the beach is short and shaded throughout the complex! I would recommend bringing extra blankets, especially if planning to use the pull out couch. There are a couple throw blankets! All bath towels, beach towels, plates, cups, cutlery, beach chairs, etc are available in the Airbnb! :)

The condo is in a great location right in front of the pool. It was just the rifht size for the 5 of us. Very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a week of sun and fun.

David’s is a great host and the place worked well for our short visit. The downside is the “beach” is very rocky and not conducive to long walks and there is airplane noise since this place is on the flight path.

Very nice location with plenty of amenities.

We had a very pleasant stay for a week. The condo was comfy and well stocked with basics soaps, coffee, hair dryer etc... it overlooks a pool which is a nice vantage point and handy for a quick dip. It's about a 2 blocks walk to the beach, and the beach is uncrowded and clean. Beds were comfy and all new appliances were welcome as we cooked or carried in in most of the time. Thumbs up by all in our group!

The condo is nicely appropriated. It has two coffee pots-one regular and one Keurig, which was a plus. The beds were relatively comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Nice touches left by owner on check-in, and check-in was relatively easy. Just know that there is a one-time parking fee of $20. We did have a few things that were somewhat problematic. The indoor pool was not heated-it was extremely cold; this was one of the reasons we chose this condo and were not able to swim. Also, just be aware that the walk to the beach from the condo is a decent trek. Also, we asked the owner for a copy of the rules 2xs, and they were never provided. We also asked the guard for a copy, and he could not provide one. This became an issue when we locked our bike on the outside walkway (which was not heavily traveled). Luckily, I was home when the guard came to tell us to move it. He was rather rude about it, not giving us much time to move it to the bike rack that was around the corner (I didn't have the lock code). There were no signs saying that parking your bike on the walkway was prohibited. So, there may be more rules you violate, but you may not know until it is too late. Overall, if you enjoy Hilton Head, then this is a nice place to stay.

We so enjoyed our stay at this villa! Upon arrival, it was spotless and some of the comfiest beds ever! It was in a great location, especially if you’re looking for a more private, quiet vacation. Any plans or dinner reservations we had were never more then 15-20 minutes away so the convenience was certainly a plus. Communication with David was good and we would definitely stay here again next time we visit HHI.

This villa is even better than the photos! Very nicely appointed and fully equipped. The sofa and chairs were so comfortable, the bed slept great, the bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen was exceptional. Close to all the best conveniences on HHI, and a short walk to a beautiful beach with lots of interesting sights and sounds, especially if you’re a wildlife lover. David is a professional host, took great care of us, and was quick to respond. We’ll definitely look him up next time we’re back in Hilton Head.

From walking the shore line, a quick dip in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, too just relaxing in the rooms, while eating chocolate covered strawberries and drinking wine! David was such a great hostess, answering any questions we had! Can’t wait to plan out next trip to Hilton Head!!

This had such nice amenities, from shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser to beach towels. The unit also provided a regular coffee pot and Keurig, with pods, and an iron. These were just a few items that I brought along and discovered once there.

Had a great stay at David's place.

A clean, right sized unit for a small family near the airport . David is very prompt and precise in his communication and both check in and check out worked out smoothly. We enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure next time.

David’s communication was diligent & efficient. He is extremely detailed with directions as well as kind to his guest. The property is maintained very well & most importantly kept clean. We really enjoyed our stay at The Spa at Port Royal. The Villa is fully equipped, clean and beautiful just like the pictures. David, the host, was very communicative, he reached out to us the day after we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed, and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay and for making us fee welcome. We will be back!

We enjoyed staying here so much! We took a quick weekend trip down, and this place was perfect. It’s right on the water, and a quick walk from the condo. The condo itself was very accommodating for our family of 6. Had everything we needed and more. The quick access to the pool was very wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again!!!
