1216 Spa
A screened balcony overlooking the pool and Port Royal Sound through a canopy of live oaks. A white shiplap living room with a leather sofa, blush pillows, and a distressed coffee table that belonged in a magazine. Two bedrooms with genuine personality — one periwinkle blue, one hand-painted heron armoire and shell quilts. This is the cottage version of Hilton Head done right. Two bedrooms, two baths, sleeps 6. Three minute walk to the beach.
Some Villas Are Designed. This One Was Collected.
There's a difference between a space that was styled and a space that was loved into existence — and the moment you walk into this villa, you feel it. White shiplap walls, a rich brown leather sofa dressed in blush and cream pillows, gold-framed botanical shell prints, and a distressed white coffee table that looks like it washed ashore from somewhere beautiful. A mercury glass floor lamp catches the light just right. A "Gather" sign above the kitchen says exactly what this place was made for.
The screened balcony is the villa's best seat. Two rattan chairs with teal cushions face outward through the screens where the pool sits below and Port Royal Sound glimmers through the live oaks beyond. A brass compass rose hangs on the wall behind you. It's the kind of balcony where an evening glass of wine turns into two hours without anyone noticing.
The primary bedroom wraps you in periwinkle blue — walls, bedding, and mood all aligned. A white panel bed with storage drawers is dressed in a richly patterned blue and grey duvet and accented with gold filigree wall medallions. Trees fill the windows. It's calm, a little romantic, and exactly what a beach vacation bedroom should feel like.
The second bedroom is the one kids will claim immediately. Two white twin beds in starfish and shell quilts sit beneath a hand-painted heron armoire — an actual piece of art, not just furniture. Driftwood heart wreaths hang on the wall. The whole room feels like something from a Lowcountry children's book in the best possible way.
The bathroom is spa-blue and serene — warm travertine tile walk-in shower, white shutter cabinet, silver mirror, and enough shelf space to actually unpack your toiletries.
The living room flows into a dining area with a dark wood table for four and a coral-print runner, then into a kitchen with stainless appliances, mosaic tile backsplash, and everything you need to cook, gather, and stay awhile.

Port Royal Sound and Fish Haul Beach
The natural shoreline is quiet, and the shallow water is perfect for small children. This is a great spot to hunt for shells and sea life, as well as enjoy the natural surroundings. Bird watchers enjoy this side of the island and a bald eagle frequents the area. Please note, at low tide, the floor can be mushy or muddy in places - it is best traveled with water shoes (but still doable if you don't mind the squish). This is the shoreline of Port Royal Sound - if you are looking to boogie board or enjoy waves and fluffy sand, we recommend Islanders Beach or Folly Field Beach which are Atlantic-facing beaches about a 10-minute drive away.
Uber and taxi is available. You can walk to the beach.
PORT ROYAL SOUND & FISH HAUL BEACH
This isn't your postcard beach — and that's exactly the point. Port Royal Sound's natural shoreline is quiet, unhurried, and genuinely wild. Shallow, calm water makes it ideal for little ones, and the shell hunting here is serious business. Birdwatchers take note: bald eagles are regular visitors to this stretch of the island.
A heads-up before you go: at low tide, the bottom gets soft and muddy in spots. Water shoes are your friend here — though the brave and unbothered are welcome to squish through.
If you're chasing waves, boogie boards, or fluffy Atlantic sand, Islanders Beach or Folly Field Beach are your move — both are about 10 minutes away. But if you want the slow, unspoiled side of Hilton Head? You found it.
THE HILTON HEAD ISLAND CAT SANCTUARY
The property borders a community cat sanctuary — a cherished part of the neighborhood.

RENTAL AGREEMENT & DAMAGE WAIVER
Just a quick heads up, as also stated in our house rules, we have a simple, personalized rental agreement for you to sign within 48 hours of booking. Please click the link provided in your confirmation message from us to review and sign before check-in. It's nothing scary, just a little housekeeping to keep everything smooth and stress-free. Note: check in information won't be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren't possible if skipped. Let us know if you have any questions — we're happy to help!
You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in "All-Risk" damage protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have limitations in protection. With "all-risk" protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless it's specifically excluded such as normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. This is covered under a $35 management fee included in your stay.
Relax and enjoy — if an accident happens, you're protected under Waivo.
