The location was absolutely beautiful and it definitely looked like the pictures. Quality of the furniture was just OK and we had an issue with the bed and talk to David. He said he would look into it. Very nice balcony and view.

Though the host was very responsive, the place didn’t meet the expectations. Sheets were filled with hair. Started my vacation by making my own bed after requesting new sheets. Couch was old, stained, down feathers from the decorative pillows all on the worn cushions. Did not feel comfortable to relax in. Bathroom had hair everywhere. The building and amenities are just dingy and unkept. We made the decision to check out early and took a huge financial hit. Luckily we were able to find another place to enjoy fit the remainder of our vacation.

This is our second time coming here and it was just as great as the first time. His place is always very clean and there is always great communication I would recommend David’s place to anyone!

David was responsive when we had a minor issue, appreciated the quick response.

Our family chose this unit because it was described as private and quiet. The environment was loud and prevented our family from sleeping to the point we called security. They charge a fee to address “non-emergent” issues and nothing was done. We paid nearly $400 for a night with no sleep and the host was unresponsive. He admitted refund was warranted and then quit responding, using an AI generated response assistant who couldn’t do anything actionable for us. Don’t advertise “quiet hours” and then have an environment where those rules aren’t enforced. Prompt customer service could have turned this around. Would NEVER recommend this to families.

The only bad thing about the stay was the main bed was extremely uncomfortable. place was very clean. everyone was very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at David’s. As mentioned by previous quests, this is the quieter more private side of the island which we enjoyed. The beach and unit were exactly as advertised. David and his team were very responsive to any of our questions. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

- wifi incredibly slow and not secure! - kitchen ill equipped need more glass glasses dirty dishes - not sure how to fix but upstairs people walking is so loud down here - need shades in living area- zero privacy!! - plastic on beds is so uncomfortable but the maybe just a mattress pad so we can't feel/ hear the plastic wrapping in mattress. - need another bedside table in plaster for other side - Couch was poorly cushioned in areas and had icky stains on it. Pros- - nice people in guard house - Location to walk on beach was nice - close to lots of golf courses - Except for upstairs clomping- quiet area - clean

We had a wonderful time here. The photos matched the place perfectly, and the beach access was truly a highlight. We loved being able to have a short walk to the beach and collecting shells — the location was amazing. Even with being close to the winter months, the weather was perfect and made our stay even better. The indoor pool and spa were an added bonus and made the trip relaxing and enjoyable. We’d definitely stay again!

Pros- it was easy to find , good pool options, the inside was pretty clean other than a few spots, if you have children the front closet has a cart full of beach toys ect., nice view of the beach. Cons - bed was not comfortable , the outside of the condo was really trashy and cats everywhere ( grossed me out) , walls are thin so the family above us had children that sounded more like a stampede of wild animals , screaming and running around super early so no sleeping in for us. All in all, I’ve had better and I’ve had worse.

The location was great. We were able to walk to the beach in minutes. The home was nice and tidy. The beach is perfect for younger kids to play due to the shallow waters. We enjoyed our stay

Enjoyed stay!

We really wanted this to work out. Came up to room with family and had group of guys that didn’t seem like people you wanted to be around. There were several stray cats in hallway and outer carpet was coming up. Lights at night felt like a motel. When we got in the room there was no toilet paper and then within 5 min of being here, smoke alarm and smoke smell in both bathrooms. We cut the air off and looked in closet with weird smell and wires everywhere coming out of furnace/ heater. We spent several hours trying to get out of staying here where I was told to just leave and call. Very bad experience and didn’t spend one night here and got charged over 500.00 dollars. Been to over 10 airbnbs in past year and this was by far the worst experience.

Great stay! David responded to messages quickly. He was proactive at sending messages about check in and check out. The condo was clean and updated! Short walk to the beach and pool. Can see the beach from the porch and the small pool from the porch. Would highly recommend!

We were so happy with our accommodations. The place was very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and updated. We loved the few cats that meandered onto the property. Hilton Head Island is exquisite. We had a great time staying at this Condo. It was exactly as described. It had a great location, great views, and great amenities. It was filled with plenty of games for the kids. It had a full kitchen with everything we needed. Even with all the great restaurants, we stayed in one night to make tacos! David was also very responsive. Although the directions were very clear, he responded right away when we had a question. Would definitely rent here again. 5 Stars all the way!!

It was a very nice condo. The bed was comfy. The shower in the master bath was great. The kitchen was well equipped. We had an issue with our coffee pot which was resolved then next day. As well as the thermostat. The cable and streaming did not work at all. I believe the WiFi connection wasn’t sufficient. Lovely area steps away from the beach.

We had a fabulous time. Great location, quiet beach getaway during the off season. Condo was perfect for us and the deck was our favorite location. Beds slept well and loved the orange towels available for use. David worked with me to correct my booking mistake with an additional night added. Definitely a return visit for us.

Our first HHI stay after many years in Golden Mile in Myrtle and a few treks to St. Simon's. We love the low country. This spot was very (and I mean very) quiet and peaceful, especially given the holiday weekend. The only noise came from the kids above us. But the pool, outside areas, beach, stairwells and parking lots were surprisingly chill. And there were folks around for sure, but were friendly & calm. We additionally loved all the shade and enjoyed watching the varied wildlife from our balcony while we ate several meals. The beach is very walkable for those that enjoy checking out all the shells (& their inhabitants!) And while not a swimming beach per se, our kids loved exploring & also road TONS of waves at nearby Folly Field & Bradley beaches. We road bikes to breakfast (an easy 15-20 ride). The unit is beachy, clean, & spacious enough for six. It even comes with some beach amenities & is well stocked with coffee & extra toiletries. We would definitely love to return!

My family really enjoyed our stay in this home away from home. This was a last-minute booking because we just needed a place to decompress before school restarted. At the end of a long drive, seeing the ocean from the balcony was just what the doctor ordered. My daughter and I both love the beach and the easy stroll down to the sand was wonderful. We found plenty of shells and due to some stubborn rain showers we got to comb the beach without sunblock for several days. This vacation was such a hit my daughter demanded to know why I hadn't booked the place for two weeks.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The location couldn't have been better - just steps away from the beach with stunning views. The condo was clean and matched the description perfectly. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the pool. A couple of things to note for future guests: we experienced some issues with the WiFi during our stay. Also, while the beach is beautiful for exploring wildlife, swimming might not be ideal due to certain conditions. Lastly, be prepared for the lack of elevators, which can be challenging when carrying luggage up flights of stairs. Overall, we had a lovely time and appreciated the host's responsiveness to our needs. Would recommend for those looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area!

Nice place and the grounds were very walkable. Nice views of the ocean; however, not a beach you can really access and swim in. The tide goes way out everyday and lots of mud and debris to walk through to get to it.

My husband and I wanted a quiet get-away walking distance from the beach. We got that! We enjoyed several sunsets on one of the swings facing the beach. Our patio had direct views of the water. Enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day listening to waves hit the beach. Perfection!

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and this was a beautiful place on the beach. It was quiet and peaceful. Very clean and not far from the many attractions in Hilton Head.

A came to Hilton Head for a conference at the Westin and extended my stay at this Airbnb. I went from very touristy to peaceful and relaxing and it was perfect. The unit is very well maintained and stocked. It’s comfy and spacious. I watched every single sunrise from the balcony and it was spectacular. I took many of my meals there and went out to the local seafood restaurants nearby for dinner. As a single woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. Would highly recommend

Our family enjoyed David’s place for Spring break. We loved having our own little beach in the backyard. The balcony has a nice view of the beach, pool and pond all at once. The place was clean and plenty of dishes for cooking. The futon was comfortable for my 5 year old and the bunk beds were comfy. The only thing I would recommend is water proof mattress covers beneath the sheets as the egg crate mattress topper was too close to the sheets for my comfort. Otherwise all was wonderful.

We had a great time in HHI. The condo is beautiful and has a great view of a pond with koi fish, a pool and most importantly the beach! The condo comes equipped with everything that you would need for the beach and pool and is literally steps away from both.

David’s place was exactly as listed. It was clean, modern, and had great views from the balcony. The beachfront access was great and it was a short drive to great restaurants and beaches.

We spent a week here with our two children (4 and 6). It was a peaceful location. The nearby beach was a highlight for our children. Amazing for beach combing. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. Highlight was actually the local cat sanctuary. Our girls named them all and actually cried when they left because they felt attached to all the local cats. Would highly recommend to anyone especially those travelling with young families.

The condo was beautiful and clean. They had coffee there upon check in and tea for the morning. Nice views of ocean and pond . Quiet and relaxing. Great location. It seems as if all we did was sleep here, but it was well worth it! Comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in away from home, and we travel a LOT! Spotless space, plenty of amenities. Loved the small touches like snacks and linens/towels laid out. Great communication. Would love to come back with the kids next time to explore more. Thanks!

Bonnie was a fabulous host! She made sure we were very satisfied with our stay from the moment we booked online until the end of our stay. They provided so many little extra touches too! Very happy with our stay, the location was perfect and the king bed was very comfortable!

This is an extremely well-appointed and nicely decorated unit. There are a few small things that Bonnee could do to make it better: 1. Both of the toilets themselves (not just the seats!) were noticeably wobbly, they need to be professionally mounted to the floor. 2. The stacked washer/dryer unit would benefit from being strapped in place or on a different type of floor support, since vibration had caused it to move so that it was shoved up and banging against the closet opening. 3. The vent fan in the guest bath was incredibly noisy! 4. There was no facial tissue anywhere in the unit, and also no extra rolls of toilet paper. Having to use TP instead of facial tissue meant that we were running dangerously low on TP by the end of our stay. That does distract from the overall experience. 5. It would be really courteous to guests to note in the description that it is on the second floor, with no elevator. Not everyone can handle that arrangement.

Very nice condo. Many extras were included, beach chairs, towels, sand toys and snacks. This was exactly as described with the beach right at the end of the building. I highly recommend this unit.

We enjoyed our stay at Bonnie’s home. Through the accommodations itself was as described the surroundings I feel could have been clearer. There are cats! I could honestly say I counted at least 6 different, I assume stray cats, just freely wondering about. I don’t remember reading anything of this in the description but after booking there was a brief mention of them, but wow. The beach is not a playable beach which was a big disappointment. One of the main reasons for booking was the implied “close to beach” that was advertised. We took our 2 year old on this trip and found out the beach is more of a sandy marsh with a lot of broken shells. My son and husband both slice there feet trying to spend time on the “beach” here. To summarize: great home but not at all the beach we were expecting.

Overall the place was great. I definitely would not have paid as much if I knew it was on a natural beach. This is NOT on a swim beach. With that being said it was beautiful to walk up and down in the mornings and evenings. Very private and peaceful.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The beach is not a swimming beach, but it a gorgeous walking beach in the evening. We chose to drive a few minutes to Burke’s Beach for swimming during the day. At night, we walked the beach and saw crabs, birds, jellyfish, and watched the beautiful sunset. The condo itself was well stocked and clean. We have no complaints!

We needed 1 night and preferably near beach. We came from OH to find a home to move to in SC and needed to extend our stay 1 day and wanted a beach stay. This was the only place available and at the beach...perfect. Clean. Looks recently remodeled and offers bathroom hygiene goodies in case you forgot yours, and on wall full size shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. Quiet. Pretty view of pool/garden and dock/beach. Super clean. Surprisingly big kitchen in cozy size. King bed comfy and loved full-size mattresses for bunkbeds. Coffee...thank you! After a week of cruddy hotel coffee...a cup here while walking along the beach early in the morning...definitely would do this again as an overnight stay away from the kiddos ;) .

My stay at the condo was very peaceful and relaxing, had fun walking on the beach during low tide finding many critters walking around as well. Many grocery stores and places to eat within 10 min of the condo!

The complex is surrounded by nature so the beach is more quiet and peaceful than other parts of the island. There is also nice park-like landscaping and a walking path between the buildings that adds to the resort feel. The unit itself seemed recently updated and was nice and clean. Check in and check out were both nice and easy.

David’s villa was actually more attractive than the images, a very pleasant surprise and included ocean views from the bedroom. It’s the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in. It would have been even more pleasant if there were dimmers on the ceiling spotlights. The four, and only chairs in the dining area, I didn’t find comfortable. The sofa cushions could be firmed up. I didn’t need the second bedroom, which is very pleasant, but it could use a lamp. These thoughtful improvements would give this villa a 10/10. The landscape and outdoor scenery are beyond amazing.

It was a really nice apartment really nice area beach was nice and so are the residents. The indoor pool was nice and warm and sauna so relaxing. There are a lot of spiders outside but the inside is really nice. If you are looking for a place to eat Stacks was really good! The balcony view was amazing really but I love Hilton head and always will so it was great like always.

Perfect spot for families to enjoy Hilton Head. Beautifully renovated apartment with everything you could possibly need. Large, comfortable beds - including the bunk beds, which teamed with the tv in the bedroom, equated to kid heaven! Beautiful sea view and great beach access for exploring. Hosts were super organized, and answered any question within minutes.

Beautiful beach on the sound—2nd story condo was just steps away which we enjoyed. Great beach for walks and nature watching! We were unfortunately not there long enough to enjoy the other amenities offered such as pool and work out room so cannot comment but the grounds were beautiful. There is not an elevator.

The location was much more than expected. Beautiful sunrises, abundant wildlife and the nightly frog serenade and star gazing added so much to the enjoyment we experienced. Unit 1214 was just right for our party, clean modern and well thought out. We will plan to visit this location again with the grandkids. So much to see, do and learn at the spa. Plan on getting up early and staying up late.

The description of this place was SPOT ON! It is right on the beach and has everything you could possibly want. Definitely set away from the tourist parts of Hilton Head, but convenient to get to anything!

Nice two bedroom condo with a view of the Atlantic. The balcony/patio overlooked the beautiful pool/common grounds. We had a great time in Hilton Head, but honestly, we could have just stayed on the balcony, sipped wine and soaked in the view. Would definitely go back.

A comfortable and clean condo with a view of the beach and a two minute walk to the beach. It is not a swimming beach but it is a beautiful walking beach and is next to a park. I loved the location that was away from the heavy traffic.

This condo is gorgeous and David made everything so easy. I really appreciated the ongoing communication to make sure we were ok. The community was nice and quiet and it's awesome that it's in walking distance to the beach. Very family friendly. We definitely would love to come back again.

This listing is exactly as described. If you are a nature lover it will feel like paradise. I always bird watch and this was one of the most rewarding locations. Lots of birds just from the balcony. Even got lengthy look at a bald eagle twice.

Great apartment in prime location next to the beach. We only stayed one night on a drive down to Florida but wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beach.

This property is a hidden gem. What you see in the pics is what you get. It does seem a little larger in the photos than it actually is, but still adequate space. It is an older complex, but well maintained. The exterior was getting fresh paint during our stay. This place is not within one of the many plantations on HHI, so therefore more secluded and private, yet still close enough to get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes. Plenty of options fairly close. You can be on the beautiful, very natural beach in 60 seconds. This is a great option… book it!

Beautiful space right on the bay! The amenities included in this stay such as access to a pool and spa makes this space such a unique one. And for the price you will regret not booking! David provides a comfortable space and he communicates with you throughout your stay to make sure your comfortable. Must book!

David’s place was amazing. We had a little hiccup upon arrival but the room totally made up for it. It was completely clean, smelled great, they even had some jazz music playing upon arrival. The location was at the north side of the island, which is away from the more touristy parts of HH. It made you feel like you were on a more private getaway. The longest drive we had to take anywhere was 20 minutes. It was a convenient & tucked away! Best of both worlds. We will definitely be back.

The stay was great. Everything was as advertised. When we walked in the place was clean and beautiful. Great view of the pool as well. There weren’t many people at the pool either. Definitely suggest booking this placing if you are planning to stay in the area!

This property is EXCEPTIONAL. We stayed there for two days and it was a great find. The pics are exactly what you get. I’m an interior designer and so appearance and ambiance are very important to me. This property is well designed, clean, newly renovated and very inviting. There was soft music and snacks waiting as we arrived. I had a small issue and David was quick to respond. I would stay here again. The property is older but I promise you the unit NEW. Close to the ocean cozy and quiet. I will stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at David’s place was great would definitely book again.

This is a great place. There is a beach and parks, which are great for walks and hanging out all directly in front of the premises and there is a pool just outside the door. From the balcony, you have a gorgeous view of the garden with the pool and the beach/ocean. While you can definitely go swimming at the beach right there, we preferred to rent some bicycles and check out the other beaches around the island as well. There is a bike way leading right up to the place and it is very easy to get around on the island. David did a great job hosting us! He was very accommodating and communicative. All in all, we had a great time and I can recommend the place wholeheartedly!

David’s place was a great fit for our last minute getaway to Hilton Head Island. With fresh renovations inside and views of the pool and beach, it’s a charming, relaxing spot. The condominium itself is a little older and run down, but with all the remodeling on the inside you barely even notice!

The place is awesome with great views. David was an excellent host and communicated well the whole time! We will definitely visit again!
