We had the best time at this beautiful cabin. So peaceful and had everything we needed. If we wasn’t sitting outside enjoying the view we were inside having a good time playing pool. Most definitely would stay here again.

The location is perfect. Peaceful and out of the busyness of gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The views are amazing as well. We loved sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the mornings, looking out at the mountains. The kids loved the pool table and it was great for them to have their own space to unwind. The decor/ artwork was so pretty and instantly made me feel relaxed. There was ample outdoor seating on the porches. The only cons, and I’m not sure if they’re cons or me being too picky :) but I just expected “better” for the price I paid. I picked a place at a premium price-plenty of others were cheaper. For what we paid (over $4k for the week), I just wouldn’t have expected the carpets, countertops and some of the furniture to be so obviously damaged and worn. The hot tub worked fine and was a nice touch, just old and had no cover assist which made it a little cumbersome. Host had tons of info for easy check in and check out which was helpful. Overall good experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kara’s place! The location was perfect for us. About 30 min to Cades Cove or Dollywood and about 40 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, so we were able to do everything we wanted while still being in a quieter area with a nice view of the mountains. There are a few other houses near the cabin, but we never saw any people. We did see bears one morning which was exciting! The kitchen is on the small side but very well stocked—the only things we bought were extra paper towels and a sponge! We loved the games provided too! We would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a nice stay here. We lounged around a lot and made use of the well-stocked kitchen. The house was smaller than what the pictures led us to believe but even so we were all comfortable. There was a maintenance issue that occured while we were there and Kara took care of that right away and was very communicative throughout the whole stay. The sunsets were beautiful from the deck and one of our family members spotted a bobcat while drinking coffee on the deck one morning! We had trouble with a couple of the doors and completely avoided using the downstairs one as it was very difficult to close afterwards.

The setting was beautiful. Very peaceful. Lots of fun games and many televisions the kids enjoyed. It is listed as 5 bedrooms and one is a loft that is open to the whole house. The loft made it challenging to get sleep as we’d booked with two couples and 6 kids to have plenty of private space for all to rest. Communication was proactive and clear for arrival and departure. The local recommendations were really great.

The place was great and had plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out. Location worked out great, about 15 minutes from both Townsend and Pigeon Forge.

We loved our stay at Kara’s place. Beautiful views, exactly as described, and a quick drive over to Dollywood or to the national park. Kara communicated very well. We loved the basement area for the kids, and it was a very well stocked kitchen. We would recommend and we’ll definitely return!

Awesome place! Tucked away in the hills but so close to everything else in Townsend, 20-30 minutes to Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg, etc. Just as nice as the pictures and perfectly described. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of amazing! Nestled in a serene location with stunning mountain views, it was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living room with the fireplace was an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic—close enough to all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet tucked away in a peaceful setting. The outdoor spaces, including the balcony and hot tub, allowed us to fully enjoy the beauty of the Smokies. We especially loved the thoughtful touches, like the comfortable beds, extra blankets, the holiday decor and clear instructions for check-in and check-out. It’s clear that the hosts care about creating a warm and welcoming experience.

What an incredible stay! My family and I absolutely loved our time at Kara’s Airbnb. The location was perfect—close to stores, sights, and attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and removed from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. The balcony view was breathtaking, especially during golden hour! The space was thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of room for us to enjoy quality time together while also allowing for moments of quiet relaxation. One thing to note is that the staircase is quite steep, which may be challenging for little ones. We purchased baby gates ahead of time, but unfortunately, the entryways were too wide for them to fit. If you’re traveling with small children, this is something to keep in mind. Overall, we had an amazing experience and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this place!

Pro's: View, location, drivable, close to town, peaceful, beautiful cabin in general. We took lovely pictures here inside and outside of the cabin. Con's: -Walls are thin, you can hear into every bedroom. -Only basement TV worked the entire stay (Kara did instacart a new one on day 2, but it still did not work), it was a known issue before we arrived, but was still not taken care of. Disappointed, holiday time, we had planned a Christmas movie night by the fire. There was no resolution here, we just did without the entire time. Kids used the basement TV. -Basement is sooo cold! We could not find a comfort level, just extra clothes.
