You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in "All-Risk" damage protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have limitations in protection. With "all-risk" protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless it's specifically excluded such as, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. This is covered under a $35 management fee included in the transaction for your stay.

Relax and enjoy your stay!! It's vacation time, so enjoy it with the peace of mind knowing that if an accident happens and damage occurs, you are protected under Waivo!

Sunset Vista in the Smokies, May 2025

We loved our stay at Kara’s place. Beautiful views, exactly as described, and a quick drive over to Dollywood or to the national park. Kara communicated very well. We loved the basement area for the kids, and it was a very well stocked kitchen. We would recommend and we’ll definitely return!

Pro's: View, location, drivable, close to town, peaceful, beautiful cabin in general. We took lovely pictures here inside and outside of the cabin. Con's: -Walls are thin, you can hear into every bedroom. -Only basement TV worked the entire stay (Kara did instacart a new one on day 2, but it still did not work), it was a known issue before we arrived, but was still not taken care of. Disappointed, holiday time, we had planned a Christmas movie night by the fire. There was no resolution here, we just did without the entire time. Kids used the basement TV. -Basement is sooo cold! We could not find a comfort level, just extra clothes.

One of the most beautiful airbnbs I’ve stayed in! The house and the views were absolutely amazing. Lots of stuff to go out and see around the area as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Tennessee. 10/10!

Sunset Vista in the Smokies, November 2022

Pros: - Location. We were able to get to Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge in 20-30 minutes. At the end of the day it was so relaxing to get away from the crowds. - Comfortable. The beds were amazing! Slept like a Princess! The large soaker tub was so relaxing and it has an amazing view. Couches and chairs were comfy. Plenty of table space to eat with our party of 6. Hot tub was incredible. Also the entire cabin smelled sooo good. The soaps and lotions provided smelled amazing too. - Roomy. I had two teens and a 10yo in my party and the downstairs was the perfect space for them to hang out and do their thing. Turns out they love playing pool! Plenty of bathrooms and beds for our party of 6. We all had our personal space to retreat to. -Scenic. Saw a bear from the back porch! So exciting!!!! Great Mountain View I could never get tired of. It was hard to leave! -Fun Lots of games for people of all ages- even babies! Cons: - Living room My one and only issue was the living room set up. We like to watch movies as a family and fitting 6 people in the living room area was a bit of a challenge. There was another couch and TV in the downstairs area though so plenty of space if you split up.
